Turn a number into English words. Handy for checks, invoices, and headings.
Type 1247 and get “one thousand two hundred forty-seven.” It will not format currency symbols for every country; it only names the number in US English words.
Whole numbers up to the quintillions are supported. Decimals become “and N cents” style tenths when you include a point.
