Business Credit After a US LLC — What We Will and Will Not Claim
People search for “US credit without an SSN” after they form an LLC. An EIN lets some vendors and some cards look at the company instead of your personal number. That is the beginning of a file, not a $50,000 promise. We form the company, get the EIN, and keep filings current so a lender sees a real entity. We do not issue credit, pull consumer scores as a product, or guarantee a Paydex number.
The honest sequence
Form the LLC. Get the EIN letter. Open a business account in the legal name. Put utilities and vendors on that name when they will accept an EIN. File 5472 and the state report so the company still exists next year. Some founders later apply for a D-U-N-S number or a net-30 vendor on their own. Those applications are not a Scriplit product, and the bureaus change their rules.
Personal credit is a different stack
An ITIN sometimes appears on a personal or “founder” card application. That is the issuer’s underwriting, not a Scriplit program. We will prepare a W-7 when you actually need an ITIN. We will not sell a timeline to a Chase or Amex product we do not control.
Who this is for
New LLC, no file yet
You need the entity and the EIN before anyone will talk about terms.
Curious about vendors
You can apply to net-30 accounts yourself. We will not broker them.
Asked for an ITIN by a card issuer
See ITIN application. That is a form, not a credit line.
Hoping the LLC is a shortcut around a bad personal file at home
Lenders still ask questions. We will not help you hide.
What you get
A real legal person
Articles, EIN, agent, and an operating agreement that matches ownership.
A bank in that name
Guidance only. See bank account setup.
Filings that keep the charter alive
A void company is a weak borrower.
No invented limits
You will not find a guaranteed dollar figure on this page.
How the process works
-
1
Entity
Form or clean up the LLC.
-
2
EIN letter
The document vendors ask for.
-
3
Bank and activity
A quiet shell with no account is a weak story.

Your applications
Vendors, bureaus, and cards — you apply. We do not sell their yes.
What we need from you
- Patience. Files are built with time and on-time bills, not a weekend package.
- A business account you actually use.
- Filings that are not late.
- A refusal to buy “aged credit profiles.” Those are someone else’s identity.
Read this before you start
- D-U-N-S, Experian Business, and similar files are third-party products. We do not operate them.
- Personal guarantees are common. An EIN does not erase that.
- If a vendor wants a US mobile number or a utility bill, that is their KYC, not a Scriplit add-on we forgot to list.
Common mistakes
Paying for a “$50k credit stack”
Anyone selling a guaranteed limit is selling a story. We will not match that ad.
Using a nominee owner to look more American
That is a false filing waiting to happen.
Ignoring 5472 while hunting a card
A penalty letter is a worse credit event than no card.
Mixing personal and company spend
The ledger and the lender both notice.
FAQ
Scriplit LLC is a Wyoming company that helps non-residents form US LLCs and prepare US information and tax filings. We are not a CPA firm or a law firm. This page is general information, not advice for your facts. Home-country tax, treaties, and your actual activity can change the result.
